This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses Xtreme Book. It exists to keep the Service safe, lawful, and reliable for every business that depends on it.
You agree not to:
- Break the law. Use Xtreme Book to commit fraud, money laundering, tax evasion, or any other unlawful financial activity, or to store or send content that violates applicable law.
- Misuse invoicing or payments. Issue invoices, receipts, or payment requests for goods or services you have no intention of providing, or use Xtreme Book’s Mobile Money or subscription checkout to process payments unrelated to legitimate business activity.
- Send unsolicited communications. Use Xtreme Book’s document-sharing or notification emails to spam people who haven’t agreed to receive invoices, receipts, or statements from your business.
- Store data you don’t have the right to store. Enter another person’s sensitive personal data into Xtreme Book without a lawful basis to do so, or data you’re contractually or legally barred from holding.
- Attack the Service. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, organization, or system; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without our prior written permission (see our responsible disclosure process if you’ve found one); or interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to it.
- Scrape or reverse-engineer. Use automated means to extract data from the Service outside the documented API, or reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of it, except where applicable law gives you the right to do so.
- Overload shared infrastructure. Send an abnormal volume of API requests, emails, or webhook traffic intended to degrade the Service for other organizations.
- Resell without authorization. Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as your own product without our prior written agreement (using Xtreme Book to run your own business, including invoicing your own customers, is of course exactly what it’s for).
- Impersonate. Misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or organization, or use the Service to impersonate another business.
Enforcement
Violating this policy may result in a warning, suspension, or termination of your account, as described in our Terms of Service, and, where the law requires or permits it, a report to the relevant authorities. If you become aware of a violation, please tell us at security@xtremebook.com.
