Effective September 4, 2026
Xtreme Book uses a small number of cookies and similar browser storage to run the app. We don’t run advertising networks, and we don’t use cookies to track you across other websites — there is no ad-tracking or cross-site pixel of any kind in Xtreme Book.
| Name / type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie (NextAuth) | Keeps you signed in and identifies your account and active organization on each request. Strictly necessary — the app can’t function without it. | Until you sign out, or expires automatically after a period of inactivity. |
| Theme preference (local storage) | Remembers whether you’ve chosen light, dark, or system theme. Stored in your browser, not sent to our servers. | Until you change it or clear your browser storage. |
| CSRF protection cookie | A security token that prevents cross-site request forgery on form submissions. Strictly necessary. | Session-length. |
If you sign in with Google or Facebook, those providers may set their own cookies during the sign-in flow, governed by their own cookie policies — Xtreme Book doesn’t control these. If your organization’s customer pays an invoice through a Flutterwave-hosted checkout page, that page is served by Flutterwave and any cookies it sets are Flutterwave’s, not ours.
Because Xtreme Book’s cookies are strictly necessary to sign in and use the app, there isn’t a cookie-consent toggle inside Xtreme Book — disabling them would prevent the app from working. You can still block or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so will simply sign you out.
If what we use here changes, we’ll update this page and the effective date above.
